William Edward Milne, CFP®, CLU®

Wealth Management Advisor

I started in the financial services industry in 2008. Prior to joining Northwestern in 2016, I worked exclusively for ultra-high net worth clients. In my prior role, I was responsible for helping my clients achieve their estate, business, risk, retirement, investment and charitable planning needs. I understand the importance of a needs-based approach to financial planning and firmly believe that everyone deserves a strong financial plan. In 2016 I decided to partner with Northwestern Mutual and confidently believe the combination of their infrastructure and products will allow me to best serve my client's financial needs.

I hold the following securities and insurances licenses: Series 7, Series 63 & PA Life and Health.

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

The CLU® designation is the world’s most respected designation of insurance expertise.  This designation symbolizes a commitment to the profession and has been recognized throughout the United States as the credential that exemplifies insurance expertise.
